Who We Are

As the Alpha release gets closer, it feels like the right time to talk about the people behind the platform...

We are a Team of 11 people from all across Europe working on BRBack.

Everyone on the team comes from a different professional path. Some of us have worked in large corporate environments, others in smaller and more private companies. We have experienced almost every work setup imaginable: on-site, hybrid and fully remote, with long hours, weekends and holidays along the way. We have had moments where things worked out exactly as planned and others where they did not.

We have seen workplaces that encouraged growth and creativity, as well as environments that felt limiting or exhausting. Some of us worked for leaders who truly listened to ideas, others for teams that struggled to act on them, and some where those ideas never had a chance to be heard. Like most people, we have felt motivated and inspired at times, and overwhelmed at others. We have had great days at work - and some we would rather forget.

Outside of work, our lives are just as diverse. We are parents and non-parents, partners and singles, friends and colleagues. Some of us have lived in several cities or countries, while others still call their hometown home. We all speak English fluently, but we think in different languages and dialects.

We all work remotely now, which has shaped our strong belief in flexible, hybrid, and remote work. Even with our different backgrounds and lifestyles, we share the same motivation and the same dream.

That dream is to turn our vision into something real and useful.

We want to build a platform that is honest and practical, not one built on empty promises. A platform that brings tools together, reduces confusion and helps people focus on what actually matters. Data protection and end-to-end encryption are not afterthoughts for us - what belongs to you should stay yours. Most importantly, we want to support healthier work environments and help move away from toxic ones.

We understand these challenges because we have lived them ourselves. In many ways, we are building this for people like us.
